The stone is a little over 2. 5 carats in weight, an oval faceted cut, and the ring is modelled in 18k gold throughout. Aquamarine, named after the Latin word for "seawater" for its mesmerizing pale blue (with a hint of green) hue. Just like its cousin, the emerald, this gem belongs to the illustrious beryl family and has been
