The broad Wharncliffe blade is made from D2 carbon steel and has a stonewashed finish that helps the knife resist wear. The solid blade is deployed by a rather beefy flipper tab that requires a bit of a flick of the wrist to deploy with the usual snappy lockup normally afforded by the ceramic ball bearings in the pivot. The handle is surprisingly slim and
