Late Victorian 15k Gold Heart Padlock Charm nyx 27ct total of Single CutDATE: Late Victorian, c. 1900 This lovely antique charm is modelled as a heart padlock. Modelled in 15k gold throughout with marks for Henry Griffith and Sons, Birmingham based goldsmiths established in 1850. The padlock mechanism can be used from the side of the heart, where a little catch open and closes, releasing the "shackle". Originally this would have been used a bracelet clasp, but we love it worn on a chain! MEASUREMENTS 1. 9 x 1. 1cm WEIGHT
