Fattoria San Lorenzo 'di Gino' Rosso, 2022 Rose de Saignee Each of the Discovery bottlingsThis wine is made from 60% Montepulciano and 40% Sangiovese. Certified organic and biodynamic. The Sangiovese is picked earlier to highlight its fresh acidity, while the Montepulciano comes later, bringing a fruity, structured backbone to the wine. It spends 12 months on the lees in concrete, and 6 more months in bottle for release. It has strong notes of black cherry, fennel and that classic savory bitterness many italian red wines tend to have. This
