18th Century Enamel Eagle & Snake Brooch spinner rings and has been prized -DATE: Georgian, c. 1750 A remarkable little brooch dating from the mid 18th century, circa 1750. It's modelled as an eagle, carrying a serpent in it's mouth that's finely wrapped around it's feet. It set with fantastic enamel work, red on the wings and tail and green spotted on the body. It's crafted in rich 18k gold with great carved details to the eyes, beak and claws. In some traditions, the eagle represents strength, courage, and freedom, while
