Late Victorian Filigree Spider Web Necklace demantoid garnet and he's sporting some prettyDATE: Victorian, c. 1890 A remarkable antique silver necklace comprising ten spiders, each sitting in the middle of a wonderfully intricate gossamer web. Nine of the webs form the main body of the necklace, in a riviere style, the tenth dangling from the centre as a drop alongside further filigree components. The quality and craftsmanship are really quite mind boggling, handmade in England towards the end of the 19th century circa 1890. MEASUREMENTS
