Victorian Ruby & Diamond Quatrefoil Dome Earrings carnelian Agate / HardstoneDATE: Victorian, c. 1870 The most gorgeous antique dome earrings dating from the latter half of the 19th Century. They're French, and feature a black enamel quatrefoil, with white dots, around a central ruby. Each lobe of the main motif is home to a rose cut diamond, itself set within an enamelled quatrefoil a pleasing fractal esque effect. Crafted in 18 karat gold, they date from the 1870s.
