1950s Marcasite Frog Brooch regency period in October 1914DATE: Mid Century, circa 1950 Charming mid century frog brooch in silver and set with marcasite. The form is particularly attractive, one leg slightly extended and millegrain ridges down its back. The toes and fingers are long and, naturally, webbed, and it's set with red paste gemstones as eyes.
