Almost half the skein is dyed a deep rich eggplant. The other colors are soft lilac, daffodil yellow, and spring green. I then lightly speckled over the lighter colors with a darker purple. YARN BASE I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is perfect for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters and beyond. It's made of extra soft superwash merino
