Kay Bojesen Guardsman With Sword, Red/Blue/White Smart Switch wall sconce or pendant lightay Bojesen created his wooden soldiers for the first time in 1940 on the occasion of King Christian Xs 70th birthday as a tribute to the Danish king. At that time, they stood guard as one meter tall soldiers outside Kay Bojesen's shop in Bredgade. In 1942, Kay Bojesen created these smaller figures. The officer carries his sabre and stands as the leader of the Regiment.
