Each one of a kind bracelet is handmade by master weavers from the tribe. Sales support the artisans, and also support cultural preservation. Many of the Wounaan have been displaced to larger cities due to violence and poverty, and continued creation of these bracelets allows them to pass on the tradition to the next generation.
